Cow born on Valentine’s Day with a perfect heart-shaped mark on her head

As if born on the most romantic day of the year isn’t enough this adorable calf was also born with a perfect-shaped heart on her forehead.

Aptly named Be My Valentine, the jersey calf was born on February 14 on a farm in County Antrim, in Ireland.

Farmer James McAuley said the calf, born to parents Bridesmaid and Gold Top, was a huge hit with his three young children.

“They just love the wee jersey calves, their nature is very different to other calves,” he told Belfast Live.

He said he’s seen cows with distinctive markings before but this is too much of a coincidence.

“I’ve seen ones kind of like it but it’s just the date, being Valentine’s Day. It was my mum that said ‘look at the heart on her head!'”

And if that wasn’t enough cuteness for one day it wasn’t that long ago that these cows melted our hearts by wearing earmuffs to protect their ears from the cold.

These pretty hand-knitted “moo muffs” helped protect calves during the cold winter months. When one farmer shared a photo of his young calf wearing a baby pink set it went viral.

Please share and help spread the joy of these beautiful creatures.
