Celebrities are just like us, at least when it comes to pets. We all share the same joys and pains that come with owning a dog or cat.
So our hearts go out to celebrities when they lose their beloved pets. Today, actor Orlando Bloom announced his dog Mighty has gone missing… and he’s asking for the public’s help to bring her home.
Bloom, the star of The Lord of the Rings and Pirates of the Caribbean, shared the news on Instagram with a photo of his beloved pet.
He writes the dog went missing in Montecito, California. Luckily, the dog is microchipped with his contact information and his collar has his number.
However, Bloom hasn’t heard any word on the dog, which means he’s still out there somewhere. The actor is now offering a reward for information.
Fans of Orlando Bloom might recognize Mighty from his social media. The dog-loving actor frequently posts photos with his pets.
He wrote that his “heart is already broken” and is hoping somebody comes forward with info.
Bloom adopted the dog in 2017, after the death of his previous dog, Sidi.
After Mighty went missing, he was seen searching the streets along with his partner, singer Katy Perry.
The dog’s disappearance comes at a moment when Katy Perry is pregnant and soon due to give birth to their first child. It also sadly comes just a few months after the singer lost her longtime pet cat, Kitty Purry.
