Who doesn’t love Jennifer Aniston? Ever since her big break as the star of Friends, Jen has been an icon for people everywhere, and we still can’t get enough of her: she has over 35 million followers on Instagram.
And her most recent post has been lighting up the internet: she introduced the newest member of her family… an adorable rescue puppy named Lord Chesterfield!
She posted a precious video of her “very tired” new puppy napping on her bed, laying perfectly still.
“He stole my heart immediately,” Aniston wrote. It’s not hard to see why!
Last July, Aniston said goodbye to her beloved German Shepard Dolly, and has since debated adopting another.
“Oh God, I’ve come so close [to getting another],” Aniston told People back in December, saying she had to consider the feelings of her other two dogs, Clyde and Sophie.
But now she’s ready to open her heart to another dog, and it sounds like she couldn’t be happier.
Aniston also gave a shout-out to The Wagmor Pet Hotel & Spa, which rescues dogs and finds homes for them.
“A HUGE thank you to @wagmorpets for the incredible work you do,” Aniston wrote. “Grateful you take such great care of these rescues and find them their forever homes.”
Jen’s post went viral and currently has over 10 million views in just three days. Even other celebrities like Millie Bobby Brown, Julianne Moore and Sarah Paulson commented on how adorable the puppy was.
Anyone who rocked the “Rachel” haircut back in the ’90s knows what an influencer Jennifer Aniston can be, so hopefully her post inspires more people to adopt!
