Although cats are very independent they do have their own little ways of showing their love. From trusting you to pet their belly to purring in your ear they definitely know who loves (and feeds) them.
Much to some owners’ horror they can also bring ‘gifts’ of other creatures home such as birds and mice, sometimes alive and sometimes not.
But for one cat in the U.K. she decided to bring a gift far more palatable than a dead creature — flowers.
Willow, from the UK, likes dropping by her neighbors’ houses to see them and leave them a beautiful spring gift.
“We live on a street of terraced houses that backs onto another street of terraced houses with a kind of garden corridor between,” Rosie told Love Meow.
“Willow rules over about six of the gardens, and I’m pretty sure she gets fed by everyone because she’s very difficult to say no to.”
Rosie said she came across Willow not long after she had moved into her house and found her sleeping in the hallway like she owned the place.
Since early Spring, Rosie had been noticing pink flowers left all over her back yard and wondered where they were coming from.
“For a while, It was just a legend that it was her until yesterday when I was cooking and spotted her jumping down with a pink flower in her mouth,” Rosie told Love Meow.
‘Steals flowers’
“I was so excited that I went to film it because she’s so cute and I’d never seen a cat ever bring back anything but dead animals before.”
“She clearly likes us because she steals flowers from (her owners) and leaves them on our deck. It was at least ten flowers before we realized it was her.”
Take a look at the secret admirer that Rosie managed to capture in the clip below.
This cat is so adorable; such a social creature.
