Dalmatians are such beautiful dogs with their distinct white-and-black spotted coat, but one is delighting the internet with his truly unique look: he has “heart-shaped” eyes, which are both different colors 😍🐾
Perseus is one of the most striking Dalmatian dogs you’ll ever see. For one, he has heterochromia, a genetic condition in which the eyes are two different colors.
Perseus has one blue eye and one brown. While heterochromia is more common in dogs than humans, it is still fairly rare.
But there’s something else special about Perseus’ eyes: they are both surrounded by heart-shaped spots, giving him a truly unique appearance:
Owner Chloe Neff, from Baltimore, Maryland, called him “the prettiest boy you’ll ever see.”
Neff, a dog groomer, got Perseus last year as an 8-week-old puppy. “He is the most outgoing, goofiest, sweetest, cuddliest, all around amazing dog,” she told SWNS. She says that she didn’t notice his heart-shaped spots until later.
Perseus has now become a viral star: his TikTok account @theheartdalmatians has over 64,000 followers and over 26 million likes. Several videos have gone viral, including one with over 64 million views.
Followers online can’t get enough of this uniquely beautiful dog. “HEART EYES AND HETEROCROMIA?? HES SO CUTIE,” one comment reads.
“I’d die for him,” another wrote.
“STOP omg this is the cutest dalmatian i’ve ever seen,” one comment reads. “This dog belongs in a Disney movie,” another added.
