Man calls into field and it leads to an unbelievable moment

People might argue to the contrary, but I think at this stage one has to accept that all animals have feelings. Some more than others, sure, but long gone are the days where we could look at the animals we share this world with and simply label them beasts.

Animals are capable love and grief, of fear and happiness, and every so often images or videos will capture moments where they truly show how in-tune they are.

Darrick Thompson, a dedicated volunteer and co-founder of Elephant Nature Park in Thailand, had formed an incredible bond with the elephants over the years.

Elephant Nature Park is a sanctuary for elephants that have previously lived in captivity and have been abused or exposed to violence. The park was founded in the 1990s and has received a number of awards for its work with elephants.

The elephants approach

One particular elephant in the park, Kham La, became especially close to Darrick. In the heartwarming video below, Darrick calls out to her, and within moments, Kham La appears, joined by her entire family. The elephants approach with such gentleness and trust, demonstrating the deep respect and bond Darrick has earned through his years of dedication at Elephant Nature Park.

The scene is nothing short of magical as the elephants rush toward Darrick, clearly showing their trust and affection.

With ears flapping and elephants surrounding him, seeking to protect their beloved human friend, this is love in its purest form. Darrick’s connection with these majestic creatures is nothing short of extraordinary. The scene is deeply moving as over 20,000 pounds of pure love rush toward him. It’s a truly beautiful moment that shows the incredible power of connection between humans and animals, a reminder of the remarkable love and compassion we can share with the natural world.

Elephants are truly amazing creatures who deserve all the respect in the world. It hurts me when I think of all the elephants that have been abused in the circus or in the tourist industry. Thankfully, its places like The Elephant Nature Park working to combat such disgusting practices.

I hope all elephants that have been abused are given a second chance, like Kham Lha has been. Please share this article if you agree.
