Every dog owner knows their animal has a unique personality but in the case of this furry friend he showed himself to be quite the joker.
Jonel (the joker) decided to play a trick on his human dad while out for a walk one day.
The dog ran into the river and for a while his owner couldn’t find him but when he did spot him he immediately feared the worst.
Posting a series of images of his dog on Facebook, his owner wrote: “I was looking for Jonel, I find him like this, I get desperate, I started crying more, when I finally got the courage to get him out of there he comes out of the water like nothing happened.
“Look at his scumbag face! This is not a joke Joneeeeel!!! 
“
Jonel decided to play dead in the water by lying on his back and not making a move, much to the horror of his owner who thought he was actually dead.
But after a while the dog emerged from the water as if nothing had happened, to the relief and anger of his owner.
One particular image captured Jonel giving his owner a big grin after playing the prank on him.
One person wrote: “There’s a human spirit in this gorgeous fella – just look at that smile and those eyes 
.”
His post has been shared by more than 100,000 people with many commenters sharing pictures of their own dogs playing dead and expressing relief that Jonel was okay.
I’m sure this won’t be the last time sweet joker Jonel decides to play a prank on his owner. I love this dog’s spirit.
