Woman adopts dog who looks just like a panda — later sees his twin and knows it’s meant to be

We all love dogs, and we all love pandas — now meet two dogs who look like pandas!

Meet Panda and Dallas, the “pack of pandas” going viral for their adorable resemblance to the iconic bear — and the woman who adopted them.

When Carly D’Eliseo moved to Texas in 2019, she knew it was the perfect time to adopt a rescue dog. When she saw an adoptable dog named Panda, she instantly knew it was meant to be.

True to his name, Panda looked just like a panda — he had white fur except two large round spots around his eyes. Carly has always loved pandas, calling them her “spirit animal,” and knew it was destiny.

“It didn’t take me long to realize that I adopted my soul dog,” Carly wrote on TikTok. “We were meant to find each other in this lifetime.”

A year and a half later, Carly got another sign when she learned about a puppy named Dallas, who was at a local shelter. Dallas looked exactly like a puppy version of Panda, with nearly identical panda-like markings around his eyes.

Panda and Dallas are unrelated, although they were both found as strays before ending up in a shelter. Knowing it was meant to be, Carly adopted Dallas, bringing these two unique dogs together as a “panda pack.”

“The universe sent us Dallas,” Carly wrote. “I … quickly realized that Dallas was made for us.”

“I’ve wanted dogs that looked like them my whole life and little did I know that making such a life-changing move for my job would lead me to them.”

The two dogs get along great, and Carly told People that Panda and Dallas are “always next to each other” and “attached at the hip.”

“Dallas doesn’t really know much of a life without Panda,” she told the outlet.

The dogs have become stars on social media, with over 30,000 followers on TikTok. In addition to Panda and Dallas, Carly also fosters other dogs — including others with “panda” markings.

Carly says she hopes her dogs’ viral popularity will inspire more people to adopt rescue dogs of their own.

“You can find your dream dog at a shelter if you just give them a chance,” she told People. “I want everyone to be able to feel the type of love you can receive from a rescue dog — there really isn’t anything like it!”

What adorable, unique dogs — they really do look just like pandas! We’re so glad they found a loving home with Carly, it was truly meant to be ❤️
