There are many special people in this world who won’t hesitate to help out an animal in need.
And sometimes the universe just puts you in just the right place at just the right time, the perfect opportunity to help someone out.
That was the case for one man, who provided a much-needed salvation to an animal dying of thirst.
On a hot day last summer, Caio Giovani, from Brazil, was driving his water truck down a dry dirt road… when he happened to come across an armadillo, who was dying of hunger and in desperate need of water.
So, he turned the water on and let the thirsty little animal have a life-saving drink.
The armadillo clearly loved the relief from the hot, dry desert. He drank from the puddle of water and let the hose cool down his body.
Many people might’ve ignored the armadillo, but this man stopped to help and it made all the difference.
It’s a precious video that shows the big impact even the smallest gesture can make. And for Caio, it was a moment to remember forever.
“A simple gesture that will mark my life,” he wrote, posting the video to Facebook, saying it was his “privilege” to help the animal survive.
